A minor addendum to the Van the baby maker story

The announcement that Van the Man had fathered a baby turned out to be one of those a makey uppy things, a lie I think it’s called.

I had read about it on the bbc site, and I had thought to myself whatever happened to Michelle Rocca? So I googled and ended up on the wikipedia entry for Van the Man and low and behold the backstory from there rang bells, not too loud bells as it was a morning in Christmas. So back to the bbc site and lo and behold, whole paragraphs matched. So did the beeb cog the back story from wikipedia? Or did someone update the wikipedia entry on foot of the bbc content?

    The dynamic Net! I suppose it was laziness on someones part, most likely on the part of the wikipedia editor but you never know!

    Anyway, I can’t get my head around why someone would hack his website. I mean…if you’re going to do something like that, pick someone political, or notorious, or both, to generate publicity.
