Watch junior minister flail about on the issue of the waste at Haulbowline.
I did a post about cutting RTe clips down to size, I meant to get around to doing it sooner but this is one example of being able to get to the part of the clip that you want to talk about.
Wow she is some gobshite. Really the standard in irish politics is absmyal.
That clip at the start was interesting (i am not taking the piss hear so bear with me). Watch as coveney talks about the children sailing in their boats – it works, why, because he is sincere and he knows about it. If he and others just stuck to only doing the indigantly outraged when they really are it would be to their benefit.
I think part of the problem in the Dail generally is too much of the content is for outside audiences. A bit like watching a football match where the goal celebrations are what is covered not the play. Local TD sends out press release about how he raised matter in the Dail or questioned the minister, no one seems the format the question and response take, dull procedure. Every once in a while someone then endeavours to get expelled to get more local headlines.
Leaders’ questions is worse, you get 15 minutes but in reality only one question, much better if you got 15 minutes to use as you like going back and forth. And of course there is nothing to compel the Taoiseach of the day to gave any kind of answer and the pol corrs don’t bother reporting that. Instead it was all admiration for the fact that Bertie would waffle away filling time, and yet they will the next day decry the loss of primacy of the parliament. Being good in the Dail isn’t enough, but not even trying should be reported as worse.
I love the part at 2:24 where she pulls the thong out of her hole.
